Dedicated to my sister who dreamed, when she was a child, to own a Loire valley Castle.

Broadway Tower is one of England’s outstanding viewpoints and, at 1024 feet (312m) above sea level, it is the second highest point on the Cotswold Ridge.

    There will be more castles sets, it is a subject I like.
    I found Malbork castle while preparing the set, the biggest brick castle if I am not wrong, but I haven’t found a great big photo of it yet, licenced with creative commons or public domain. Sometimes I ask to copyright owners to share with this blog some photos but replies are slow.

    As portuguese, thank you for including the Almourol Castle. It is really beautiful but, pay attention to the Marvão Fortress (really wonderful, near PORTALEGRE), Óbidos Castle (Óbidos), St. Jorge Castle (Lisbon), Guimarães Castle (Guimarães, where was born the nation), and so on. Come to Portugal and eat our wonderful food.
