This oil spill will probably become the worst oil slick ever and not only the US but all North Atlantic countries should help now, because if the oil is spreaded by ocean currents, it could be a major environmental disaster for the whole ocean.

Why dont the leaders of the world make them do it now. the entire world would fall into ruins if left to the system as the system has failed . Com on world leaders step up to the plate and FIX THE LEAK even if bp goes bankrupt as 500 million is a few hours profit. It always pass the buck when these big corps.give millions in contributions so they get special treatment.SHHH DONT TELL ANYONE
I’m curious what’s being done for the fractions of hydrocarbons that area heavier than water and presumably pooling on the ocean floor… this happens with bunker C, so I wonder if the natural oil from the ground also has the potential to settle and/or sink..? One would hope there are containment efforts to keep it in the Gulf and NOT speread into the Atlantic stream and pulled up the coast of North America. What a MESS!
